NTT20s League One Tips: Back Tykes, Posh and Argyle in 14/1 treble on Saturday

Mike Duff's Barnsley can continue their good form at Wycome

With no telelvised EFL games this weekend, George Elek from Not The Top 20 has found a treble all from League One, backing Barnsley and Peterborough to win on the road, with Plymouth Argyle to run riot against Forest Green.

  • Barnsley are unbeaten in three on the road

  • Lincoln's unbeaten home form won't last

  • Argle to cover over 2.5 at home for sixth time this season

Wycombe Wanderers v Barnsley

Wycombe have made an ok start to life after Wild Thing, with Matt Bloomfield having taken the reigns from his former boss following his move to QPR. They've picked up seven points from his three games in charge, and come into this one off the back of a 2-0 win at Bristol Rovers.

They did concede 21 shots in that game though, and the trend of defensive numbers suggests that the Chairboys may need to tighten up defensively, with the 1-1 draw vs Exeter following a similar pattern.

Their opponents Barnsley come into this one in fine form as they bid to chase down the top two in League One. They've won eight of their last ten in the league and are unbeaten in five on the road, scoring 10 in that time and winning three of the games.

Mike Duff's team should have the tools to create chances against this Wycombe side and should be favourites to win the game.

Lincoln City v Peterborough United

The Imps could be set to lose their unbeaten home record this season, with Posh travelling to the LNER Stadium off the back of a midweek 5-2 away with at Burton. In truth, Lincoln's record at home is an anomaly rather than any indication of being a constant dominant force. They've only scored 16 goals in 17 home games, winning four, and sit down in 12th in the home league table.

It's only a matter of time until a team takes all three points back with them from Lincolnshire, and Peterborough look a good fit to do that with League One's top goalscorer Jonson Clarke-Harris set to provide a stern test of Lincoln's mean defence.

Posh have won seven games on the road this season and should be able to make it eight here.

Plymouth Argyle v Forest Green Rovers

Despite going through some patchy form on the road which could see Argyle's automatic promotion hopes scuppered, their form at Home Park remains imperious winning 16 of their 18 games and scoring 36 goals in the process.

They should make light work of Forest Green here, who are destined to return to League Two, and they should do so in style.

In five of FGR's 18 league games the hosts have covered the 2.5 goal line themselves, whilst Argyle have themselves done so in five of their home games, so the trend suggests that we can back them to do so again here.
