Bournemouth v Lincoln Tip - Back Goals galore

Despite only having two points Bournemouth have performed really well this season, they've simply paid the price for changing mentality late in games and trying to protect leads. They'll be desperate to get their first win of the season but they're also very likely to make sweeping changes given they also have European football to play this term.

Lincoln are one of the favourites to be relegated from the Championship but they've had a decent start, winning one and drawing two of their five league games to date as well as scoring four away to Blackpool in the second round of this competition.

The Imps have been giving it a real go so far this term, playing front-foot attacking football and I don't see them changing that mentality in a game that is effectively a free shot. It' no surprise to me that Over 3.5 Goals is available to back at just 23/202.15 but I'd be shocked if this game doesn't include plenty of goals.

Crystal Palace v Middlesbrough Tip - More chaos involving Boro

Another team I expect to rotate heavily is Crystal Palace. They played away at Fulham on Saturday and they host Ipswich on Saturday before playing in Europe. Those games will have been marked down as winnable, and those games will be the priority to the Eagles.

So like Lincoln at Bournemouth, Middlesbrough have an away game at a Premier League club that they will really fancy and they're sure to give it a right go. Anyone who follows Boro - spoiler, I'm a fan - will know they they create loads of chances, register plenty of shots, but for whatever reason this season they can't seem to keep opposing teams from getting loads of shots away.

So expect another highly-entertaining game, and although I don't want to call the winner (my heart obviously says an away win), I think we'll see goals at both ends and once again I'm happy to back Over 3.5 Goals, this time at 31/202.55.

Leyton Orient v Bradford Tip - Back O's to maintain good run against Bantams

How much can you read into head-to-head results in the league when it comes to a cup game? Probably not much, but for what it's worth, the last four meetings between Leyton Orient and Bradford at Brisbane Road have been won by the hosts, three of them coming courtesy of not conceding.

Both teams have started quite well in the league - Orient on seven points, Bradford on nine - so I'm happy to take a chance on the home win here given their recent record in front of their own fans against the Bantams.

And to add strength to that, Opta stats tell us that Orient manager Richie Wellens has never lost at home to Bradford City in five meetings in his managerial career, winning four and drawing one across spells with Oldham, Swindon, Salford, and the O's.

Sunerland v Hull Tip - Back Tigers to roar on Wearside

Sunderland are another Premier League team that have European football so the EFL Cup is likely to be bottom of their priority list, though it's difficult to know how strong they'll line up in this clash given that thy'll no doubt view it as a winnable game.

But you sense that Hull are just going to go for everything this season. They've been brilliant in the Premier League so far, picking up seven points from a possible nine, and they're yet to concede a single goal.

The Tigers have a lot of new players to bed in, and some are very likely to get a start in this match, but they've won their last two games at the Stadium of Light, and with their care-free attitude I won't be surprised if they produce a minor upset.

Millwall v Newcastle Tip - Back a comfortable night for Magpies

Millwall have started the season in strange fashion, winning two Championship games in impressive fashion, registering a loads of shocks, then suffering back-to-back defeats, conceding eight goals in the process, and then bouncing back with a convincing 4-0 win on Saturday.

So it's hard to know which Millwall will turn up on Tuesday night but my gut feeling is that Newcastle will target the cup competitions this season given they have no European football to play.

The Magpies are unbeaten in the Premier League this term and they've scored at least two goals in all four games they've played in all competitions, I expect them to line up relatively strong and I can see them putting this game to bed early if Millwall aren't at their best.
