Brendan Rodgers might have had more credit in the bank at Leicester than Steven Gerrard did at Aston Villa, but the Foxes manager should have suffered the same fate as the former Liverpool player.

Leicester find themselves down in 14^th place and in miserable form since the return from the World Cup break. They are only one point clear of the relegation zone and just three ahead of Southampton at the bottom.

They haven't won a league game since November, and while a draw at home to Brighton a fortnight ago did end a four match losing streak, they could only scrape through against Walsall in the FA Cup last weekend.

Unai Emery's hosts had the weekend off following their shock exit to Stevenage, but they have won both of their league fixtures since, and have taken 10 points from a possible 12 in 2023.

Bet 2: Back Man United @ 1/3 - KO 15:00 GMT

Manchester United's title aspirations might have disappeared since their loss to Arsenal, but they are largely in top form under Erik ten Hag, and I can't see them being troubled at Old Trafford this afternoon.

One of United's old foes, Patrick Vieira, is in the opposite dugout today, but his Crystal Palace side are winless this calendar year - playing five, losing three and drawing two.

They have been beaten in three of their last five away from Selhurst Park, while United have won 12 on the bounce in front of their own fans.

Bet 3: Back Brentford @ 5/6 - KO 15:00 GMT

I was actually quite negative about Brentford's prospects this season, especially as it appeared that Christian Eriksen had been their saviour last term.

Thomas Frank's men have proved me wrong though, and they are up in eighth place, having lost just four times - a record that only the top three can better.

At home it's five wins and four draws from 10 games this season, with Arsenal being the only club to have beaten them.

The Saints have been a bit hit or miss under Nathan Jones, but it's now three losses from their last four in all competitions, and I just feel that the Bees are a slightly generous price at 5/6.
