Baggies to build on Preston romp
Leg 1 Burnley (90mins) @ 7/52.40 (19:30)
The Hatters won their first ever Premier League game at the weekend, and while it was an impressive win at Goodison Park, I quite like Burnley's chances against them this evening.
The Clarets head to Kenilworth Road having taken just one point from their opening six fixtures, but it is worth noting that they have had quite a tough run of opponents.
Vincent Kompany's men won here when they faced each other in the Championship in February, and I am happy to take a chance on them repeating that tonight.
Leg 2 Ipswich (90mins) @ 4/61.67 (19:45)
Ipswich have made a flying start to life back in the Championship, and while they face another in form team in the shape of Hull, I still expect them to take the three points.
The hosts have won three of their four at Portman Road thus far, and their only defeat was a crazy game against Leeds. They head into tonight five matches unbeaten, and four of those were wins.
The visitors are actually unbeaten in eight, but three of their last four were draws, and they had to come from behind in two of those games.
Leg 3 West Brom (90mins) @ 1/21.50 (20:00)
Sheffield Wednesday remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship, and they look set for another defeat against an in-form, West Brom.
The Baggies are unbeaten in four, and they will have got a huge boost from winning 0-4 at Preston on Saturday. They should be able to kick on from that now, and overall their home record is good under Carlos Corberán.
The Owls have lost seven of their nine since their promotion, and the other two were only draws. Their two latest outings were 3-0 defeats.
