The Daily Acca: A 9/2 boost to start the weekend

• Juventus to follow up derby win.
• Ipswich to close the gap on the leaders in League One.
• No road worries for PSG.

Bet 1: Back Juventus @ 4/11 - KO 19:45 BST

Juventus managed to put a couple of disappointing defeats behind them to win the Turin derby last weekend, and that should hopefully give them a boost going into tonight's fixture.

The visitors are Empoli, and they currently sit 10^th in Serie A, having taken 11 points from a possible 30 this season. Their last two outings have seen them draw 1-1 at Torino and beat Monza 1-0, but this is a tougher test.

Paolo Zanetti's side are actually unbeaten in four on their travels - three draws and one win - but Juve are a class act when they put it all together, and with that win last week, I am expecting Massimiliano Allegri's men to take the points here.

Bet 2: Back Ipswich @ 3/4 - KO 20:00 BST

The Tractor Boys are second in League One, but they need to bounce back from a defeat to Lincoln last Saturday.

They had been going great guns prior to that though, winning three on the bounce, and they have now still only lost two of their 14 this season.

Derby are aiming to be promoted straight back to the Championship, and considering all the upheaval at the club, they are doing okay to be in ninth place.

My concern here though is that they have only won twice away from home this season, and that they have lost three of their last four in all competitions.

Bet 3: Back BTTS in AC Ajaccio v PSG @ 21/20 - KO 20:00 BST

AC Ajaccio face their toughest assignment to date since they were promoted back to the top flight last season for the first time since 2014.

They welcome PSG to Stade François Coty, sitting third from bottom of Ligue One, with just eight points from a possible 33 this term.

Admittedly, seven of those eight points have come from their last four matches, but PSG are streets above the vast majority, if not all of the teams in France, and they have only dropped four points so far this year.
