Bristol City 5.309/2 boss Liam Manning remains confident the Robins can end the season in a positive state with signs of progress despite a section of supporters booing the side off in their recent 2-0 defeat at West Brom. Goals either side of the interval saw City sink to a fifth defeat in their last six games, leaving Manning's men in mid-table no-man's-land.

Jason Knight and Mark Sykes did both hit the crossbar from corners in the second half, but Albion could also have increased their advantage. Manning felt the outcome was harsh on his team, preferring to focus on the positives at The Hawthorns, saying: "The timing and manner of the goals were a bit tough for us. Apart from that there was nothing in it."

He added, "We kept the ball, built well and had a threat on the counter. It comes down to belief and quality, ultimately. We continued to try and play, we just lacked quality in the final bit which is something that has to improve."

Bristol City should have Joe Williams available again, George Tanner is fit to start if called upon, whilst Cam Pring and Harry Cornick are aiming for recalls after missing out for Haydon Roberts and Sykes last time out.

Leicester 1.738/11 relinquished their position as Championship table-toppers before the international break as the Foxes were involved in FA Cup quarter-final duty. City conceded twice in stoppage time to lose 4-2 at Chelsea, missing out on a place in the final-four following a dramatic encounter at Stamford Bridge.

The hosts led comfortably at 2-0 until Axel Disasi scored a comedy own goal from 35 yards out to breathe life into the tie in the 51st minute. Stephy Mavididi curled in a superb equaliser 11 minutes later but a red card with 17 minutes to go for defender Callum Doyle proved crucial, turning the tide back in Chelsea's favour ahead of the late show.

Leicester head coach Enzo Marasca was impressed with his side's efforts, despite the disappointing finale. He said, "We don't like to lose games, but the effort and performance was very good. We scored twice but then the red card completely changed the dynamic. Overall, the team was playing good. We didn't lose our identity. We competed very well."

Leicester's recent wobbles (W1-D1-L3) have allowed Leeds to usurp them at the top of the Championship, though the Foxes' record against the lesser second-tier lights remains exceptionally strong. Enzo Marasca's men have returned W21-D1-L1 when facing sides outside of the top-10, including W10-D1-L0 when taking to the road.

Nevertheless, Leicester have only scored more than three goals in three of those 23 tussles with 16 of those 21 triumphs arriving alongside Under 4.5 Goals. A repeat here can be backed at 10/111.91 and holds plenty of appeal considering Bristol City have already posted W1-D1-L8 against top-six opposition, failing to even score on six occasions.

Matches involving the Robins have tended to be low-scoring affairs; City have seen only 2.29 goals per-game across their Championship dates thus far with just six breaking the Over 4.5 Goals barrier. The hosts have seen nine of their 14 second-tier showdowns feature fewer than three goals since Boxing Day, firing blanks of their own in seven of those matches.
