Italian and Spanish giants meet

The pick of Wednesday's Champions League group games is this clash between Inter and Real Madrid.

Inter won Serie A last season, but have since seen their inspirational manager Antonio Conte and star striker Romelu Lukaku depart. They are currently fourth in the table after three games (W2 D1), drawing 2-2 at Sampdoria over the weekend.

Real Madrid came back from being 2-1 down to win 5-2 at home to Celta Vigo. Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick, the in-form Vinicius Junior scored his fourth goal in as many games, while new signing Eduardo Camavinga came off the bench to score on his debut.

The win kept Madrid top of La Liga, ahead of Valencia by virtue of amount of goals scored. Their four games have seen the side score 13 goals. They have conceded in three of those four games and that seems like an area in which Carlo Ancelotti's side need to improve. The six goals they have conceded this season, have come against the sort of teams that you would expect them to keep clean sheets against.
