Chelsea v Man United - Saturday, 12:30, Live on TNT Sports
I've seen nothing to suggest that Man United can turn things around and for that reason I'm just going to say home win. I know Chelsea aren't great defensively and I can see they have stiffened up a little bit but they were poor last week against Spurs also and they haven't got Joao Pedro but nothing that I see in Man United gives me belief they can go there and win so I'm going to say home win.
It seems as if every week, we're saying Carrick needs a result, but he does, again, he needs a result but if they were to get that huge result, then you can imagine what it does for belief and confidence.
Bournemouth v Leeds - Saturday, 15:00
Marco Rose changed it around massively on Wednesday. I think there were seven or eight changes, maybe more for Bournemouth. So, for them to still go out and get the result against Villa obviously means that they're all buying into his ideas after a bit of a tough start.
Bournemouth seem to be cooking now and Leeds are finding it hard to get wins now. So, I'm going to go for a home win to Bournemouth. I'm going with the form team.
Brentford v Nottm Forest - Saturday, 15:00
I'm going to go home win again. The Carabao Cup is always difficult what to take out of it because the managers always change the teams around. So, it's difficult to judge. Forest are struggling so I'm going to go for a home win for Brentford.
Coventry v Sunderland - Saturday, 15:00
It's a huge game for both clubs. I'm going to say a draw. I'm not sure either team will have enough to win, so, I'll say a draw.
I think it's a bit of everything for Sunderland why their form has dipped. I know Brian Brobbey's coming back, but I guess they've had to play without him as well. They are in Europe and we always felt it was going to be a tougher season than last season. They're doing all right in the cup competitions, it's just the league they're struggling. So, for that reason, that's why I'd say it's going to be a draw as well.
I think both these clubs will be in a relegation battle, but I think Sunderland might just have enough to get out of it.
Hull v Ipswich - Saturday, 15:00
Again, I think I'm going to go for a draw because it's such a tough one to call. Hull had a brilliant start but are finding it more difficult as we thought it would be. Ipswich have done okay, not too bad. I think a point for both teams is not a bad result.
Man City v Brighton - Saturday, 15:00
Erling Haaland will be back, which probably will make a huge difference as he didn't play against Brighton in the week but I'm pretty sure that Fabian Hurzeler, in 90 minutes of five games against Man City, I don't think he's been beaten.
They were beaten on pens in midweek, but this is a really, really tough one to call and I'm going to say Man City will get a home win just because Erling Haaland's back, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Brighton were to go there and get something. It wouldn't surprise me if Brighton actually went there and won.
Tottenham v Crystal Palace - Saturday, 17:30, Live on Sky Sports
Spurs got a huge win against Chelsea and Crystal Palace won in the cup in midweek against Fulham, but from the highlights that I saw of that game, Fulham missed some big chances.
I think just with those results for Spurs and the belief and the confidence that they will have, I think that win against Coventry was a big one for them at home. So, I would expect them to beat Crystal Palace.
Pierre Sage has been under pressure. I guess it was a big win for them on Wednesday and they've got a favourable draw at home to Sunderland as well in the quarter-finals. However, I think Palace are struggling. Newcastle beat them at home last week and I thought they were really poor and that's why I think Spurs will beat them.
Aston Villa v Fulham - Saturday, 20:00, Live on Sky Sports
Aston Villa have been flying. It's difficult because the manager changes the teams around in the EFL Cup and they got beat and they would have wanted to get through, but I guess with Europe, it's not a disaster for them, and I would expect them to bounce back at home and beat Fulham.
I don't know why Villa starts the season so slowly then kick into gear, it's really weird isn't it that and then they ended up getting themselves in Champions League football again last season having started poorly, which is incredible. Could you imagine where they could finish if they start the season well.
Nicolas Jackson looks like he's got a manager that believes in him and knows his game. He seems as if he's got him enjoying his football, believing in himself and I've been really impressed with Villa, how they were against City, how they pressed with their energy, their work rate. Nicolas Jackson is key to that, if he can keep on scoring those goals, there's no doubt there's talent in there, but he has missed too many chances over the years. If he can keep scoring those goals then Villa could have a really good season again.
Liverpool v Arsenal - Sunday, 16:30, Live on Sky Sports
I'm going to go for a score draw. I just think with the form that Liverpool are in, I know Arsenal got dumped out of the cup in the week, but it was a very different team, so it'll be a different mentality going into it. Arsenal have to bounce back and it's going to be a really tough game and it's a tough one to call because Liverpool have got a lot going for them at the moment.
I think both teams will take a draw, and I don't think it'd be a bad result for either team.
Newcastle v Everton - Monday, 20:00, Live on Sky Sports
Newcastle's record during Monday evenings is pretty dire, isn't it? But they are at home and they did beat Crystal Palace last week. I'm going to go home win just, I think it'll be a really, really tight game but I'm going to go for a home win and hopefully they can bounce back and take their revenge after the loss in the cup to Everton on Thursday evening.
