Arsenal will beat Chelsea in Matchday 3's Super Sunday clash

Arsenal will beat Chelsea in Matchday 3's Super Sunday clash

Ipswich v Liverpool - Friday, 20:00, Live on Sky Sports

Well, I always think it's really, really difficult going to new grounds with the newly promoted sides as we've seen. Particularly Man United going to Hull. But I do think that Liverpool with that signing of Barcola will have enough to take the three points from Ipswich. Liverpool win and can try to kickstart their season, but only just.

Alan's Prediction: Liverpool Win

Newcastle v Bournemouth - Saturday, 12:30, Live on TNT Sports

Under Eddie Howe, I don't think Newcastle beat Bournemouth, we did just beat them in a cup game on penalties last season. But Bournemouth had a really good record against Newcastle under Eddie Howe. But I think with the confidence, the belief and the atmosphere at St James's Park, that'll change tomorrow. So, I'm going to go for a Newcastle home win.

Alan's Prediction: Newcastle Win

Brentford v Sunderland - Saturday, 15:00

I think Sunderland will have a tough season. I think they'll find it really difficult playing in Europe on a Thursday night. I've been really impressed with Brentford and what they've done in their first two games. So, I'm going to say Brentford home win.

Alan's Prediction: Brentford Win

Brighton v Leeds - Saturday, 15:00

A really tough one to call. Leeds have won one and drew at home in the second game against Brentford. I think it'll be a really tough game for Leeds, so I'm gonna go for a Brighton home win, I have been impressed with them so far.

Alan's Prediction: Brighton Win

Fulham v Crystal Palace - Saturday, 15:00

With what has gone on in the transfer window for Crystal Palace and the problems they've got with Mateta and Sarr, I think this could end up being a relegation battle. I do think these are two teams that will really struggle. So, I'm going to say a draw and a point each.

Alan's Prediction: Draw

Man City v Coventry - Saturday, 15:00

I think it's really unlucky for Coventry going to Arsenal away in the first week and then the second away game is Man City. So unfortunately, I don't see anything other than a home win, it's just a matter of trying to keep the goals down for Coventry, I guess.

I think there's only one result that we can expect tomorrow, it's just a matter of how many goals City will score.

Alan's Prediction: Man City Win

Nottm Forest v Tottenham - Saturday, 15:00

I've not seen anything from Spurs that suggests that they can have a good season. I guess it's been alarming really, the first two results and how it has happened. I feel for the Spurs fans. You can imagine the noise increasing if it goes against them again tomorrow, and I think it will. I'm going to go for a home win for Forest.

Some of De Zerbi's comments to say some players aren't fit, particularly Tonali who wasn't even at the World Cup, would be the most alarming thing for me. This is already a huge game because you can just imagine the noise already if Spurs get beaten again tomorrow.

Alan's Prediction: Nottm Forest Win

Hull v Aston Villa - Saturday, 17:30, Live on Sky Sports

I'm going for a Villa away win. Villa have recruited really well in tough circumstances, and I think they will win tomorrow. I thought they looked much better against Arsenal and even though Hull have started the season well, I think their winning run will come to an end on Saturday.

Alan's Prediction: Aston Villa Win

Everton v Man United - Sunday, 14:00, Live on Sky Sports

Bruno Fernandes is unbelievable; he's been brilliant for Man United. This game is a tough one for Everton after a tough transfer window. It's always an exciting game this one though, Everton against Man United, particularly at Everton. So, I'm going go for a score draw.

Alan's Prediction: Draw

Arsenal v Chelsea - Sunday, 16:30, Live on Sky Sports

Arsenal don't give anything away at all defensively. I think Bruno Guimaraes could be a brilliant player for them with the way he passes the ball through the lines. I'm going to go Arsenal home win.

For Chelsea, it's as good as it gets really in terms of the three of them working together, Rogers, Palmer, and Joao Pedro. We've already seen flashes of brilliance from them, and we've seen enough to suggest that they'll cause any defence problems, but they are up against the best defence in the league, maybe in world football. So, it's going to be a fascinating battle.

I do see Arsenal winning the title, but I think Chelsea will finish second or third so it could be a great game.

Alan's Prediction: Arsenal Win
