Barring a mammoth net run rate swing, Zalmi cannot slip from a top-two slot. They have won all seven of their matches played with one washout. Kings, after four straight defeats, have only meagre hopes of making the top four due to their collapse.
Zalmi's charge has been down to the brilliant batting of Babar Azam and Kusal Mendis. Kings' collapse is down to injury and illness of two key players, skip David Warner and Hasan Ali. Warner remains a doubt with a back problem while Hasan should be back to full strength.
There is a wonder what would happen to Zalmi if a side knocked over both Babar and Kusal cheaply. The rest have barely needed to bat. Babar hit a 52-ball ton against Quetta last time.
Even so, the consistency in run-getting is hard to ignore. And it would be wise to reckon that continues, particularly as the Lahore surface was better for batting than Karachi. The total runs lines don't seem to have taken the switch in venues into account. Backing Zalmi's runs total at over 171.5 would make more sense if the teams were still playing on the worn surface at Karachi.
Babar is 12/53.40 for another top Zalmi bat win and 7/24.50 for top match bat. With regard to the latter, there's not much to beat from Quetta particularly if Warner is missing again. Warner is 9/52.80 but it is hard to back him considering fitness worries. He is significantly overdue a top-bat win, though, if there are those who are looking for a reason to play.

Hyderabad Kingsmen v Multan Sultans PSL Tips
Hyderabad Kingsmen have turned their season around with three consecutive wins. They had been locked in a battle for the wooden spoon with Rawalpindi after losing their first four. But this is potentially a stern test with Sultans maybe needing a win to confirm a top-two slot. They were playing Pindiz on Tuesday.
Kingsmen's form has been impressive even discounting the win over Pindiz last time out. Beating Islamabad and Karachi, when they had high hopes, cannot be dismissed. The upturn in form has a lot to do with Marnus Labuschagne, the captain, taking responsibility at the top of the order. Glenn Maxwell has now arrived to bat in the middle order although his longstanding collapse in batting form shows no sign of abating.
The one player to watch is Usman Khan, who has had a hugely disappointing campaign. There have been flashes of the old Usman, who returned a 40% win rate from two season prior to this term on top bats. Could he finally rediscover his touch? A five-day break since the last game may have done the trick. An eight-ball duck was painful to watch against Pindiz.
