USA v Canada
Sunday 2 June, 01:30
TV: Live on Sky Sports

USA v Canada T20 team news

USA are heavily reliant on Steven Taylor for runs. Corey Anderson brings international experience as an all-rounder in the middle-order. Watch out for opening hitter Andries Gous.

Possible XI: Gous, Taylor, Jones, Monank, N Kumar, Anderson, van Schalkwyk, Harmeet, Ali Khan, N Patel, Netravalkar

Aaron Johnsons scores the majority of Canada's runs so there's an early problem for them if he goes early. Kaleem Sana is the man to watch with the ball. The Rawalpindi-born quick can get it down at a decent lick.

Possible XI: Johnson, Bajwa, Pargat, Kirton, Thaker, Movva, Bin Zafar, Heyliger, Siddiqui, Gordon, Sana

USA v Canada T20 pitch report

The Grand Prairie Stadium surface in Dallas may be best for runs early on, mirroring what we saw in the Major League last season in its inaugural campaign. Scores of 181 and 215 were notched up front before wear and tear took hold. Canada actually score runs at a quicker strike rate than the US. They are well matched on bowling economy, both conceding 7.4 runs per over. Playing overs at 165.5 on the 20-over line is an option with the wicket at its best in mind.

USA v Canada T20 match prediction

The US preparations have been hit by the weather with both their warm-up matches washed out. Still, they are the right favourites here, although the 1.444/9 could be considered too short.

A series win over Bangladesh and four consecutive wins over their rivals certainly give the hosts an edge. But there is enough nous in the Canada team to trade shorter, particularly batting first.

USA v Canada T20 player bets

Taylor and Johnson are so reliable for their respective teams on top bat. Taylor wins at a rate of even money in his last eight and Johnson 43%. The 16/54.20 on Taylor from Sportsbook is a solid bet, then, while we'll also take the 23/103.30 on Johnson.

West Indies v Papua New Guinea
Sunday 2 June, 15:30
TV: Live on Sky Sports

West Indies v Papua New Guinea team news

West Indies have looked strong with a series win over South Africa and thrashing the Australia bowlers. We sincerely hope thye're not cosnidering playing Shai Hope instead of Brandon King, though. Andre Russell may be given extra time off post IPL.

Possible XI: King, Charles, Pooran, Powell, Rutherford, Russell/Chase, Shepherd, Akeal, Alzarri, Motie, McCoy/Shamar

PNG rely on Tony Ura for runs. He has opened recently but it was not so long ago he was stationed in the middle-order. He may return there as they look to shore things up against one of the big boys.

Possible XI: Ura, Bau, Nao, Vare, Amini, Doriga, Hiri, Vala, Kariko, Vanua, Morea

West Indies v Papua New Guinea pitch report

Providence used to be very hard work indeed for batters but runs lines have ticked up. There were two scores of 200 or more in the last ten CPL matches. West Indies should be looking at 220, 230 or 240 batting first and check prices for the same.

West Indies v Papua New Guinea player bets

West Indies are 1.021/50 for success and with no winning margin bets we immediately look at player wagers as value. With something destructive from the hosts in the offing man of the match prices on Brandon King at 6/17.00, Johnson Charles at 15/28.50 and Nic Pooran at 7/18.00 look like options. The to score a 50 markets with Sportsbook may offer easier wins here, though and King stands out at [12/5]. Ura has been underrated at 7/24.50 for top PNG bat. He wins 27% of the time.
