Jamaica have four games left and after a two-game burst following a poor start, they are back under pressure for a top-four finish. Defeat by table-topping Kings last time out means they are likely to have to win three games to be in with a shout.

Good job, then, that they face the Patriots who have won once all term. Patriots have six games left and need four wins to be in the mix. That's something they have managed only once in the last six tournaments. They are a poor side.

At Warner Park it is right to expect runs. But it might not be right to expect Jamaica to have free reign to go ballistic. Patriots are actually second on bowling economy this season, conceding an average of 8.05 runs per game. Kingsmen are at 8.71.

In that regard it's not a great match up for the surface. Patriots are bottom on strike rate and Kingsmen only ranking fourth.

We have been keen to get with Jason Holder for a top-bat win but we're not sure a good batting track is quite right for the play. Top order runs are the way to go and milestone betting at that. A fifty for Patriot Andre Fletcher at 4/15.00 is a wager that has appeal.

Fletcher is Mr Reliable and is coming back towards the run zone after a strong start.

Holders Trinbago Knight Riders are second bottom and could be dead last of the pile by the start of this match if Patriots were to beat Jamaica. They have one win from four and were taught a lesson by Kings last time out for their third-successive defeat.

Tim Seifert's 61-ball 105 meant TKR had a mammoth chase of 212 and only a late, irrelevant flurry from Kieron Pollard gave the result some respectability.

They suddenly look unsure of their balance. One can always tell when panic is starting to take hold because the solution is always the same; get Sunil Narine up the order. He was paired with Colin Munro in the opening slot with Alex Hales out of the side for Matt Breetzke.

There is still no sign of Justin Greaves, who would offer much-needed balance by batting in the top three and bowling useful overs. His groin injury means he may well miss an entire season for the second-successive year.

Tridents have played only three matches, winning two. But it is fair to reckon that, just like Kings, they are going to be underrated here. We would expect at least 2.305/4 to be available on the Betfair Exchange.
