Headline Act tried to make up ground from a tricky position at Chester and in what looks a weaker event, he can resume winning ways. Petrovsky is still on the upgrade and will appreciate this trip, while Admiral Duque showed much improved form last time and can reach the frame.

Petrovsky did well on the all-weather over the winter, winning his last three starts in good style. The extra distance here should suit and he remains capable of further improvement.

Orthology was a good second at Pontefract on his third run last season and remains open to further improvement at this longer trip. He probably needs to progress to trouble some of these though.

Headline Act is getting better all the time and ran out an impressive winner of a mile-and-a-half handicap at Kempton last month. He was well held in a very warm race at Chester last time out but remains capable of better.

Admirable Duque put in several consistent efforts in maidens/nurseries as a two-year-old and produced the expected improvement upped in trip last time, winning comfortably. Possible he may be found out in this better race though.

Distant Memories is a scopey gelding who ran out a ready winner of a heavy-ground event at Ayr last November. Big step up in trip here and much faster ground to contend with, but open to plenty more progress.

Clowance House got off the mark at the fourth attempt when capitalising on a good opportunity at Salisbury earlier in the month. He didn't look entirely at ease on the quicker ground there and any rain may help his chance.

Chiberta King put in a much-improved effort on reappearance, running on well upped in trip. Stiffer opposition to contend with here but still unexposed over this distance.

Highway Magic's fifth at Yarmouth on his second start stands out as his best run but has found little for pressure on a couple of subsequent attempts. Looks to have a stiff task here.
