Northside Prince is well worth a try back over a shorter trip and he can prove too strong for Aldaado and Petsas Pleasure.

Liberty Trail put in a much improved effort on his first run for this new stable over seven furlongs at Musselburgh last month and matched that when second at Ayr. He probably needs to progress for the longer trip to defy this current mark, though.

Aldaado confirmed his maiden promise when making a successful handicap debut at Beverley last time. A 4 lb rise is not excessive and a proper test at this trip is what he needs.

Petsas Pleasure was placed in all-weather/turf maidens as a two-year-old for Lee James, and was back to form when fourth at Newmarket last time. He is capable of better and has place claims in this field.

Whispering Spirit showed promise as a two-year-old and travelled well for a long way on last month's reappearance. She is yet to convince that she wants this trip, though, and will be of more interest back sprinting.

Northside Prince was progressive in maidens and has shaped with promise both starts in handicaps. This shorter trip could also bring about some improvement and he is a leading contender.

Green Dynasty showed plenty of promise in three maidens on the all-weather at the start of the year but has dropped away tamely on all starts in handicaps on turf. He is now tried in blinkers.

Fuzzy Cat is well-bred and has hinted at ability when well held in maidens. He has blinkers on for his handicap debut and is one to note in the market.
