Treasure Town is looking to do the business for us at Lingfield this afternoon.

Dear me! I can't remember a day this bad for a long while. I will not be betting today and advise you to the same or to bet with small stakes if you are doing so. It was a great weekend, but an end of season flat card at Leicester and two all-weather cards at Lingfield and Kempton make limited appeal. There is only one horse I can point you to, but even that is with limited confidence.
The stable are in great form and Treasure Town (13:50) will be looking to break his maiden following a decent debut at Leicester a couple of weeks ago. That was a better race in which the Kings Best colt ran well to finish third. I think the opposition that day was stronger than he will encounter today. As I said modest stakes but this looks like a pretty solid bet on a day short of decent propositions.
