15:10 Catterick - Unexposed Vega Storm appeals most

Richard & Peter Fahey's Vega Storm is one of just a couple of three-year-olds in this seven-furlong handicap and with just five runs under his belt is significantly less exposed than most of his rivals.

He also arrives here after much his most encouraging run to date which came over this same course and distance a fortnight ago, making up ground late to finish fourth after being left poorly placed.

Vega Storm has been dropped 1 lb since then and looks capable of building on that, coming out top in the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings.

15:42 Catterick - Riddikulus clear pick at the weights

A low-grade handicap for three-year-olds, and Grant Tuer's filly Riddikulus, the only winner in the line-up, stands out on Timeform weight-adjusted ratings being 6 lb clear with a '+'.

Trying a mile and a half for the first time and with blinkers back on, she got off the mark at Ripon last time when getting up in the final strides to beat Hansteen by a short head, the pair pulling clear of the rest.

The runner-up has since bolted up by eight lengths at Pontefract in what was admittedly another poor contest, but it makes Riddikulus the one to beat from her 4 lb higher mark.

17:05 Worcester - Back To Cali can go one better

Back To Cali made the frame in four of his five starts in handicap hurdles in Ireland when trained by Shark Hanlon and can now make it second time lucky for 'Hot Trainer' Dan Skelton.

He was sent off at short odds for his British debut in a novices' handicap at Stratford last month but was beaten a head by second favourite Slack Alice after conceding first run to that rival.

However, Back To Cali stuck to his task after hitting two out and earned the 'Horse In Focus' flag, giving the impression he can gain compensation soon, while that form has since been boosted by the third.
