Tzarmix is 4 lb clear on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings

Danny's Friend is a likely improver from lowly base

Klic Boum caught the eye at Chepstow last time
Tzarmix produced his best effort for his current stable when making a successful return from six months off at Ludlow last week and, as that win was achieved in a handicap for conditional riders, he escapes a penalty.
Tzarmix seemed to benefit from a more positive ride than usual that brought his stamina into play, and he found plenty to score by six and a half lengths.
He, therefore, looks well treated off the same mark here and heads Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 4 lb, while the longer trip here should suit based on how strongly he saw out his race at Ludlow.

Danny's Friend was unplaced on all 12 starts over hurdles, but he offered some encouragement when fifth on his chasing debut at Hereford last month and justified strong support back at the same venue a couple of weeks ago.
Danny's Friend travelled strongly, led on the bridle soon after the second last and drew clear approaching the final fence, ultimately winning by three and a half lengths with plenty in hand.
He has an 8 lb higher mark to deal with here but still looks on a fair mark, especially as he still has the Timeform 'small p' to show that he's likely to improve. He appeals as one capable of racking up a sequence from his lowly mark.

Klic Boum was probably in need of the run when down the field at Exeter on his return to action last month, but he shaped well when fifth at Chepstow last time, making some late headway and earning the Horse In Focus Flag from Timeform's reporter to mark him out as one likely to be of firm interest next time.
That Chepstow effort was by no means the first time that Klic Boum has shaped well or left the impression that he remains capable of better at trips around two and a half miles, and he still has the Timeform 'small p'.
He's also been dropped 2 lb since his latest effort and looks on a favourable mark based on the pick of last season's efforts, and he heads Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 3 lb.
