Gelato was just a modest maiden when trained in Ireland last season and she didn't improve much on her return and stable debut at Bath in May.
However, that run clearly did her good, as she produced a big career-best effort to open her account over seven furlongs at this course in June,
That was a modestly-run race, but Gelato displayed a fine turn of foot to settle the race two furlongs out, hanging to her left once clear but still readily on top of the two who dominated the betting.
She has the Horse In Focus Flag, which highlights her as one to keep on the right side and, given that form is working out well, she has an excellent chance of following up after a 7lb rise in the weights.

Mister Mojito is a two-time winner over this course and distance, the latest coming in April last year from a 1lb higher mark, and he signalled he's ready to win again at Newmarket last month.
He'd fallen to a mark in the 60s for the first time in 15 months, and he shaped as though back to his best, settling better than he had previously this year, but not quite seeing it out after commencing his run fully four furlongs from home
Mister Mojito was headed in the final furlong and stayed on at the same pace behind a thriving mare from the James Owen yard. That appeals as strong form for the grade - he was given the Horse In Focus Flag given how he shaped - and he's handicapped to go very close from the same mark returned to all-weather.

Tabasko remains a maiden, but she has some solid form in the book in the context of this race, and this may well prove her optimum trip.
She showed improved form upped to a mile and a half for the first time when runner-up at Epsom last month, breaking well but soon behind and running in snatches, still last of all three furlongs out but staying on takingly from there to take second close home.
Tabasko looked all about stamina that day and she had no problem with the step up to two miles at Doncaster last time, though she made a big move from last to first in a tactical race which left her vulnerable at the finish - she was given the Horse In Focus Flag as a result.
She moves down two furlongs in trip now and this trip could be perfect for her, still appearing to be learning on the job and remains with the potential for better from the same mark.
