Tuesday Racing Tips: Three to play with bets at Leicester, Southwell and Wolverhampton

16:47, Leicester - Imposing 'Horse In Focus' gets the nod

Timeform 'Horse In Focus' English Time impressively landed a maiden at Ffos Las (form been franked) when last seen in June and is fancied to return in style off a lenient-looking mark (well clear on Timeform weight-adjusted ratings with a 'small p' attached to his figure) for his handicap debut.

The tall Harry Charlton-trained colt has plenty of scope for improvement at this back-end of the season, and, with his yard in good form ('Hot Trainer' flag), he's fancied to see off the front-running course winner Sergeant Wilko.

17:23, Southwell - Course should suit recent winner

Luminaries races off the same mark as when successful in a conditional jockeys' race at Kelso nine days ago and, with the return to three miles firmly in the favour of this Timeform 'Horse In Focus', he looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to follow up.

The nine-year-old seems to have responded well to the switch to blinkers on his last two starts, and he is very well-treated on his form from last season which saw him win from 18 lb higher.

His five wins have all come on left-handed tracks, so this venue should suit, and he's fancied to follow up.

20:30, Wolverhampton - Take jockey booking hint

Midnight Media rates the pick of the weights, 5 lb clear on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings, and is fancied to gain a third success of the season with Oisin Murphy picking up the 'Jockey Uplift' flag taking over from Lewis Edmunds.

The Advertise filly is unexposed over middle distances, but this course winner (who has other strong pieces of form here) shaped as if this trip would suit when going close at Southwell last time despite being hampered late on.

'Sectional' flag horse Currumbin - in a first-time tongue-tie - seems sure to go well too, but could have to settle for runner-up spot once more.
