Yes I'm Mali is 1 lb lower than when narrowly denied in a higher grade (0-90) at Thirsk on Friday so a bold bid looks assured if showing up in similar form.  

The David O'Meara-trained sprinter reacted well to the visor being removed and looks to have ideal conditions as he searches for a fifth career success.

He is 4 lb clear on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings and gets on well with jockey Daniel Tudhope (record since stable debut of 1-2-2-2-2).

The unexposed Mr Perth left the impression he is a good deal better than he was able to show on handicap debut at Galway in July and this 'Horse In Focus' makes plenty of appeal here.  

The Michael Grassick-trained three-year-old has only had four starts, sent off at 40/1, 66/1 and 200/1 for his three qualifying runs in maidens.

However, he was only 9/2 for his handicap debut late last month and very much caught the eye under Billy Lee from a fairly hopeless position.

He is worth another chance to justify the support he received ahead of his handicap debut, and it would be no surprise were he to prove a good deal better than his current mark of 66.

This can go to Diomed Spirit, who was only narrowly denied a second victory for Chris Gordon here last week and is able to race off an unchanged mark.  

Saffie Osborne takes over on the lightly-weighted six-year-old who was collared on the line by Giant nine days ago and the 'Horse In Focus' faces an easier task here.

Narrowly top on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings, the former Stuart Williams inmate is fancied to land a seventh career win (usually holds form well - recorded a four-timer in 2023/24).
