Having bumped into a useful prospect on hurdling debut, the Claire Dyson-trained Madame La Papillon again shaped well when pulling clear with a progressive rival (the Fergal O'Brien-trained Is This For Real) at Newcastle last time and she could be ready to go one better.
The six-year-old mare impressed on testing going at Huntingdon last term and, with today's ground in her favour and, 6 lb clear of Lyrical Choice on Timeform weight-adjusted ratings, she's fancied to break her duck over hurdles.

The lightly-weighted Flowing Cadenza ran her best race since a year off when second at Huntingdon last month and this C&D winner could be the answer with her yard revived of late.
Despite her advancing years, the lightly-raced 12-year-old looked in good form when 1¾ lengths second to Where's Cato last month and she could get her own way out in front if able to see off Not Sure in the early exchanges.
The Timeform pace prediction for the race is 'very weak' and that could see the Venetia Williams-trained mare - who is 4 lb clear on weight-adjusted ratings - to best effect.

A six-figure purchase as a pointer, Timeform 'Horse In Focus' Local Derby was making just his second start in handicaps when winning decisively at Wincanton last month.
This brother to the fairly useful hurdle winner/chaser Fortunate Man (entered in Saturday's Eider, winner up to 25f from a BHA mark of 124) had previously only shown modest form over hurdles, but was well-backed and overcame greenness when winning by two lengths from Watchoutitscookie last month.
He was well on top at the finish there, promises to be suited by this longer trip (and further), and - 4 lb clear on weight-adjusted ratings (with a 'small p') - looks sure to improve further and win more handicaps.
