Le Tiep's Sacre only made his seasonal reappearance last month, but he shaped well in fifth in a competitive handicap hurdle at Kempton on his belated return to action.
Le Tiep's Sacre was ridden patiently on his handicap debut but made smooth headway down the back straight and was in touch turning for home. He still looked to be going well on the heels of the leaders on the approach to the second last but he was untidy there and was also a bit short of room on the run to the final flight.
He was unable to find an extra gear up the run-in, but he stuck to his task well enough to suggest he saw out the longer trip on his first attempt over two miles and five furlongs, and he's entitled to do better with that encouraging effort under his belt. Timeform's reporter believed the performance was a positive one as he awarded the Horse In Focus Flag, identifying Le Tiep's Sacre as one likely to be of firm interest next time.

Corolla Point was quickly moved on from Charlie Appleby's powerhouse yard after coming up short on his first couple of starts as a three-year-old, but he has done very well since joining Ed Bethell and should still have more to offer.
Corolla Point improved on his previous efforts when returning from a four-month absence to make a successful stable debut at Haydock in September, scoring decisively by a length and a half.
He then followed up with an even better display at Hamilton later in the month, again scoring with something in hand and earning the Horse In Focus Flag from Timeform's reporter. The style of those victories suggest that the progressive Corolla Point hasn't reached his limit, and he has the Timeform 'small p' to show that he's likely to improve further.

Ranga Tang showed run-by-run improvement as a juvenile and went close on his final start of the season when denied by only a neck at Wolverhampton.
The form of that race at Wolverhampton has worked out very well as the fourth, fifth and sixth all won next time out, so an opening BHA mark of 80 for Ranga Tang looks lenient based on that performance.
He heads Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 4 lb for this handicap debut and looks likely to appreciate stepping up in trip to a mile and a quarter (the Wolverhampton effort was over a mile and half a furlong).
