Timeform pick out the horses to note on Sunday

Timeform highlight three horses of interest at Naas and Warwick on Sunday.

Warwick, 13:40 - So You Know can carry on improving

So You Know finished down the field at the Punchestown Festival on his only outing in bumpers, but he made a winning start over hurdles at Huntingdon in November, finding plenty to lead close home.

He had to settle for second under a penalty at Market Rasen a few weeks later but showed much-improved form on Timeform's figures, and he still has the Timeform 'small p' to show he is likely to carry on progressing.

As a half-brother to the smart staying chaser Does He Know, So You Know promises to be suited by a step up in trip, but he could still be good enough to make a successful handicap debut over two miles, particularly given he's so lightly raced and unexposed. He looks to have been handed a lenient opening mark and is 3 lb clear on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings.

Warwick, 15:10 - 'Horse In Focus' Ilitch can go one better

Ilitch, a winner on his final start last season, shaped better than the result would suggest on his first couple of starts this term and then produced his best effort yet on Timeform's figures when runner-up at Doncaster last time.

Ilitch was beaten a length by a rival completing a four-timer, but he pulled 17 lengths clear of the third, earning the Horse In Focus Flag from Timeform's reporter to mark him out as one likely to be of firm interest next time.

He doesn't have many miles on the clock for an eight-year-old handicapper and looks likely to give another good account as he remains fairly treated, despite going up 4 lb in the weights.

Naas, 16:02 - Top-rated Uhavemeinstitches looks well treated

Uhavemeinstitches, a lightly-raced winner over hurdles, made a successful start over fences at Wexford in October, beating a couple of subsequent winners in cosy fashion after being produced to lead on the run-in.

She hasn't added to her tally in three starts, but she has shown improved form, notably when third behind The Big Westerner in a Grade 2 at Limerick over just shy of two and three-quarter miles.

The drop back to two miles at Naas last time didn't suit her, but she remains with untapped potential at staying trips and still has the Timeform 'small p'. She's certainly bred to stay this extended three-mile trip being out of Irish Grand National winner Bluesea Cracker. She also looks well treated back in handicap company based on her Limerick form and heads Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 5 lb.
