Clive Cox has won with four of his twelve runners at Windsor this year and looks to have a good chance of adding to that total with Keep Kicking On who makes his nursery debut in the opening contest.

He shaped as if needing the experience on his debut at Ascot but has progressed since in novices at Haydock and Doncaster, clearly learning with each run.

Keep Kicking On shaped well last time, quickening best after having to wait for a gap and earning the 'Horse In Focus' flag with his close fourth behind Jumeirah Storm. He's open to more improvement.

Amazonian Dream is on a losing run stretching back to the end of 2024 but he's a three-time course-and-distance winner for 'Hot Trainer' Rod Millman and has given the impression he's ready to win again soon.

He has twice finished runner-up over course and distance in recent weeks under Oisin Murphy and was unfortunate last Monday, not seeing much daylight at a crucial stage and bumping into a well-treated rival.

Racing off the same mark here, he's 3 lb clear in the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings and can turn the tables on course specialist Lequinto who got the better of him last month.

Tony Carroll runs three in this mile handicap with the stable's new recruit Thestral, the mount of Marco Ghiani, looking the most interesting on just his second start for the yard.

The brother to Group 1-winning sprinter Dream of Dreams was formerly trained by Hugo Palmer, winning a novice at Newcastle last December and placed in a couple of handicaps this term when blinkered.

While Thestral was below form on his debut for Carroll at Kempton, that was in a change of headgear, but now back in blinkers he's on a handy-looking mark 3 lb clear in the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings.
