15:15, Fairyhouse - More to come from Shabby Hill

Shabby Hill won his sole start in points and shaped with promise at big odds on his Rules debut at Punchestown in December, shaping like a stayer given the way he plugged on in the straight.

He was shorter in the betting and shaper when showing improved form to open his account at the same track next time, ridden much more positively on that occasion, making most of the running and finding plenty in the closing stages, stamina again proving his strong suit.

Shabby Hill progressed further to follow up at Navan last time, the thee furlong step up in trip suiting him well, doing well under the circumstances given he was held up in a steadily-run race but still ran down the runner-up who had the run of the race - he has the Horse In Focus Flag as a result.

This is likely to be run at a good tempo, which will suit Shabby Hill much better, and he's one to keep on the right side now entering handicaps, just the sort who will go on progressing for a while yet for a shrewd yard.

15:30, Kempton - Thriving Bahadur can win again

Bahadur had some strong form to his name prior to opening his account over this course and distance in October on what was his all-weather debut.

He hasn't looked back since, either, proving his opening mark a lenient one when following up over further in November and recording a career-best effort when completing a hat-trick at Wolverhampton last time over further still.

Bahadur displayed a good attitude that day, not having much to spare at the line, but the runner-up has since franked the form. He's an uncomplicated type who can boast an unbeaten record on an artificial surface and a subsequent 3lb rise may not be enough to stop him in his pursuit of a four-timer.

15:50, Fairyhouse - Kawaboomga can improve past standard setters

Kawaboomga is a lightly-raced six-year-old who looked promising last season, losing little in defeat when runner-up to subsequent Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner Kopek des Bordes on his stable debut, and having no problem going one place better at this course next time.

That form worked out really well, and he shaped with an abundance of encouragement on his recent return from a year off in a Grade 3 at Gowran in February in a race won by reopposing stablemate Storm Hear. He only finished fourth, but that race didn't get to the bottom of him, yet to be asked for an effort when short of room two out and outpaced soon after.

He finished with running left at the line that day, likely he'll prove the best of those in time - he has the Horse In Focus Flag - and this step up in trip can only help him improve further. There should be plenty more to come and he remains an exciting prospect with the potential to improve past the standard setters.
