14:00, Market Rasen - Festival entry Khrisma open to further improvement
There are several in the mares' novice hurdle at Market Rasen who are open to improvement but the one who makes most appeal is the Timeform top-rated Khrisma who holds an entry in the Dawn Run at the Cheltenham Festival for 'Hot Trainer' Nicky Henderson.
A dual Grade 3 winner in French bumpers, Khrisma has her quirks which accounts for her wearing a hood, but she has shown plenty of promise in a handful of starts over hurdles for current connections. That includes finishing second in a novice at last year's Punchestown Festival behind Casheldale Lad who's now a Champion Hurdle entry.
Khrisma made the most of a much easier task at Uttoxeter on her return in the autumn and should have followed up when narrowly beaten at Huntingdon last time. After travelling best, she was still to be asked for her effort when untidy at the last and ended up being beaten a short head by Watamu, earning the 'Horse In Focus' flag. Meeting Watamu on 7 lb better terms here, she can turn the tables and perhaps book her place at the Festival.

15:37, Market Rasen - Longer trip to suit 'Horse In Focus' Little Ledgend
Olly Murphy and Sean Murphy have a few good chances at Market Rasen where the trainer has a 25% strike rate over the last five seasons, including Little Ledgend who looks capable of gaining a first career win in the staying handicap hurdle after knocking on the door in his last couple of starts.
He was placed in both his bumpers last term and has gradually been getting the hang of things over hurdles, coming up against well-handicapped rivals when runner-up at Lingfield and Taunton on his last two runs. Back under Bowen last time after contesting a conditional jockeys' race the time before, Little Ledgend went down by three lengths to gambled-on winner Bel Ombre, earning the 'Horse In Focus' flag.
Those efforts suggest Little Ledgend is threatening to come good soon, and the extra half-mile of this contest will suit the son of Yeats judging the way he was staying on at the finish last time.

20:00 Wolverhampton - Imola on same mark as when good second last week
Imola is one of a handful of winners on the all-weather this winter for Joey Ramsden since he relocated from South Africa to Newark in Nottinghamshire, and she looks weighted to double her tally over the extended nine furlongs at Wolverhampton.
After several placed efforts since joining Ramsden, Imola gained a deserved first success of her career at Southwell last month at the age of five. She has been kept busy since and remained in good form, including when runner-up at Wolverhampton next time, when beaten a short head, and back at Southwell last week.
She was no match for improving winner Dream Illusion on her latest start but emerged with credit and has a clear chance at the weights off the same mark here, heading the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings by 3 lb.
