13:20 Ayr - Diplomata can come out on top again
Ayr's card starts with a couple of nurseries, and in the first of them restricted to fillies, there's a rematch between Diplomata and One Shot Kodi who fought out the finish of a similar event at Haydock last time.
There was a length between the pair there and strictly speaking One Shot Kodi is weighted to turn the tables, but William Haggas's filly did well to come out on top after being repeatedly short of room until late on.
Both earned the 'Horse In Focus' flag at Haydock and preference is for Diplomata who looks the type to go on again and heads the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings for her 'Hot Trainer'.

13:55 Ayr - Dontlookanyfurther than the top weight
There's some depth to this contest, but the eye is drawn to John & Sean Quinn's colt Dontlookanyfurther who is improving in leaps and bounds and could well be on a lenient mark for his nursery debut.
In fact, he looks to have the most progressive profile in the field, improving plenty from his debut to win a novice at Redcar in August and progressing a good deal more to follow up in a similar event at Thirsk.
Dontlookanyfurther routed his field last time to earn the 'Horse In Focus' flag, going with enthusiasm and quickening four and a half lengths clear, and his opening mark puts him top of the Timeform ratings.

15:05 Ayr - Freshness in Beautiful Diamond's favour
There's quite a big field for this listed fillies' sprint, but it can be narrowed down to a handful of realistic contenders and last year's winner Beautiful Diamond makes plenty of appeal again for Karl Burke.
Her course record gives her the 'Horses For Courses' flag as her victory in this contest twelve months ago was her third listed win at Ayr, having also landed the Harry Rosebery at this meeting as a two-year-old.
Beautiful Diamond disappointed at the track when last seen in June but is best when fresh and a repeat of her earlier third in the Temple Stakes at Haydock makes her the one to beat at the top of the ratings.
