15:20 Musselburgh - Gweedore weighted for another course win

Katie Scott's veteran Gweedore has an excellent record at Musselburgh where he has the 'Horses For Courses' flag after five wins over course and distance and six at the track all told.

His latest win came here in November, and while he hasn't been fully firing yet this season, he has dropped to a handy mark as a result and heads the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings.

He looks worth another chance with blinkers on for the first time and has a low draw to operate from in contrast to the hat-trick seeking Eagle Bay who looks the likely favourite.

18:18 Haydock - Longer trip will suit Edward Sexton

Edward Sexton rubbed shoulders with top novice hurdler Old Park Star in their bumper days and that makes him an interesting runner from a BHA mark of only 65 on his first start in a Flat handicap on turf.

He has hinted at promise on the all-weather, including when fifth over an inadequate trip on his handicap debut at Lingfield last time when not given a hard time.

The extra half-mile is sure to suit Gary and Josh Moore's gelding in this amateurs' contest where he has the assistance of the experienced David Dunsdon who partnered Edward Sexton in all his bumpers.

20:38 Haydock - Tokyo Joe looks well treated

Ed Walker's Tokyo Joe wasn't too far away in big fields at Ascot and York on his first two starts this year before making the most of a good opportunity in a less competitive race at Ffos Las last time.

He landed the odds with more authority than his winning margin of a neck suggests and that form is working out well, with both placed horses having won since.

Therefore, Tokyo Joe looks well treated from just a 1lb higher mark here where he heads the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings by 3 lb, giving him every chance of being able to follow up.
