Newmarket, 14.15 - Back Song N Dance @ 9/25.50

Song N Dance performed with great credit at Ascot last time and could record a deserved win in this handicap.

Her Ascot conqueror, Radiant Beauty, proceeded to win a Listed event at Pontefract next time out and the third-home that day, Alobayyah, lifted a well-contested Royal Ascot handicap on her next start.

Even seventh-home Jannas Journey has won since to endorse the form and the drop to seven furlongs for Song N Dance may be no bad thing either for a filly that invariably travels strongly in her races.

Sitting on the pace can be a positive on the July Course, especially with the ground riding quick, and trainer Sean Woods is also enjoying a good time of it of late with a series of winners in the past fortnight.

York, 15.45 - Back Raammee @ 5/16.00

Royal runner Warrant Holder, agonisingly beaten at Royal Ascot, and the William Haggas-trained improver Yabher dominate the market for this typically interesting handicap and it's easy to comprehend why.

The former has already won on the Knavesmire this term, while Haggas has favoured this event for his Sea The Stars gelding for some time, arguably with more confidence once he hammered his Goodwood rivals by upwards of six lengths last time, for which he received a 12lb imposte from the assessor.

In contrast, Raammee has gone largely under the radar for this race, albeit his odds have continued to contract from a double figure quote a week ago.

We have yet to see Roger Varian's progressive son of Persian King over today's trip, but the manner of his performance behind the upwardly mobile Beagle Bay at Sandown last time suggested ten furlongs was both within his remit and should induce further improvement.

The hood appeared to have the desired effect at Sandown in that the selection settled a little better and he could emmulate the efforts of Enfjaar who won this prestigious handicap two years ago for the Newmarket handler.

Newmarket, 16.35 - Back Satono Reve @ 4/15.00

It has been 26 years since the trail-blazing Agnes World lifted this marquee sprint for Japan, but Satono Reve could end the wait this afternoon.

While the seven-year-old can be termed a veteran compared to the rest of today's field, he retains an extremely high level of ability and may well gain compensation for an agonising second career defeat in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot last time.

In a finish of inches, Satono Reve's nose wasn't quite long enough as Almeraq collared him on the line and will look to confirm those placings here.

The selection is reunited with Christophe Lemaire who partnered him to a smooth success in the Grade 1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen back in March and a switch to a track with more of an accent on speed could see Satono Reve gain compensation for his frustrating Ascot reverse.

Newmarket, 16.35 - Back Big Mojo @ 9/110.00

Backing two against the field in a race of this nature wouldn't be for everyone, but Big Mojo was runner-up in this event 12 months ago and appeared to enjoy the perfect prep at Ascot in the King Charles III Stakes behind Mission Central.

Mick Appleby's speedster found today's test pretty near perfect 12 months ago when failing by a neck to secure Group 1 glory and he went on to prove he is comfortable at this level with a smooth success in the Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock later in the summer.

That victory was achieved under William Buick who is back on board for the first time since that triumph and his mount ought to enjoy a good tow into this race courtesy of Quinault who is drawn in close proximity.
