I haven't ridden him before but he obviously looks to hold a strong enough chance here after winning well at Thirsk last time to confirm himself as a progressive sprinter. That came on quick ground but he showed form with a bit of ease last year.
He was very impressive on fast ground over 1m4f at Newbury last time, and a 5lb rise for that looked pretty fair. He has also won on soft ground this season too, so that versatility could stand him in good stead here, and I'd say 1m6f will be okay too judged on his Nottingham run previously.
She obviously has a very big job on here with Free Wind in the race but my horse has solid place claims as she has good course form. I think this beautifully bred filly is better than she has shown of late as well, despite running well in defeat. A bit of ease in the ground may suit her best, too.
He is an 8yo now but he is a standing dish in these big sprints and he won well at York two starts ago before not being beaten far in the Wokingham last time. He was a good sixth in this race two years ago, and he should run his race, which makes him an each-way player and hopefully something more.
There was a lot of talk about him before the Wood Ditton and he ran well to be third to Passenger. He has since won at Kempton and finished a fair fourth at Sandown last time. I could see him going well here.
His pedigree suggests he may like a bit of dig and he is a half-brother who won a couple for the stable at two. I don't know much about him at the moment but hopefully the fact I have been booked for him bodes well. We shall see, though.
He obviously comes here in great nick after winning over a mile at Ascot last time. He is 6lb higher here, which is probably on the harsh side, and soft ground would largely be an unknown but it may continue to dry out and of course he has his chance.
