Two multiples to consider EW
Royal Ascot - 14:30 - Back Jabaara
Jabaara handled the dip at Newmarket ever so well on her debut run in May, and the way she picked up strongly suggested the Albany was the race for her.
Her trainer Roger Varian has won the Albany twice since 2010 and Jabaara is looking to emulate the yard's Daahyeh, who won on HQ debut before landing the Royal Ascot prize.
Indeed, the Newmarket race which the selection was successful in, has been a good guide to this race, and she overcame a lot of traffic issues on debut when switch to show a brilliant turn of foot.
We can back her at 7/18.00 on the Sportsbook with the extra place for fourth.
Ascot - 15:40 - Back Live Your Dream
We go the handicap route with Saeed bin Suroor for the Duke Of Buckingham Stakes over 1m4f and Live Your Dream came back well at Haydock last time following a mammoth 609 day lay-off.
He usually travels well, but over 1m4f last time from a very steady early pace, he was caught out from the back and had too much ground to make up at the end. He did well to finish second, but for a horse who stays beyond 2m, it didn't play to his strengths.
The bounce is obviously an issue if you subscribe to that theory, but he looked very smart when winning off 91 at Newmarket over 1m6f in 2021.
The 5yo stays well, acts on quick ground and travels. I like his chances of hitting a place at 14/115.00.
Ascot - 16:20 - Back Queen For You
With only seven runners in the Group 1 Coronation, it's a real shame we have to play for two places rather than three, but the drift on Queen For You from 6/17.00 to 8/19.00 makes me want to include her in today's selections.
She made an impressive debut winning at the track in May and she bounced off the good ground to show a decent turn of foot from a steady pace. The form of the race doesn't look particularly strong, but she won easily.
The 3yo ran at York last time in Listed company, and she still had the look of a green and inexperienced filly when finishing second.
Her mother Fallen For You won the Coronation in 2012, and like so many fillies this time of the year, they can improve rapidly from first to second, and indeed second to third start, so I am not too worried about her trying to find 18lb of improvement with the favourite.
Warm Heart displayed that yesterday with a big jump in her form.
