Paul Nicholls: It will be no surprise if Ken Roy runs well on Sunday

Read Paul Nicholls on his Sunday runners at Fontwell

Betfair ambassador Paul Nicholls has three runners at Fontwell on Sunday so read his preview and get the lowdown on their chances...

  • Paul Nicholls previews Sunday trio at Fontwell

  • Plenty of improvement to come from Zaochen Enki

  • Ken Roy can improve again and One Island makes yard debut

13:32 Fontwell - Zaochen Enki

He will improve for his run at Cheltenham on debut this season. The slightly slower ground at Fontwell will help him so I am sure he will improve. He probably wants further. But he ran well at Cheltenham, he's just a big green baby, it was his first time in a handicap. There is plenty of improvement to come from him.

14:05 Fontwell - Ken Roy

He will stay forever. He won his chase debut at Plumpton but he pulled up in his three runs before that. He went nicely the other day and I just though this was the obvious race for him. He needs to improve again but as long as he doesn't mind the soft ground - he had better ground at Plumpton - it would not surprise me if he ran very well.

14:42 Fontwell - One Island

He is making his debut for the yard. We like him. He won a mile-and-a-half on his only start before we bought him. He has done lots of schooling. He goes well and we are hoping he will run well. He runs nicely and jumps well. He will improve for the run.
