Clonmel, 17:05 - Back Arizona Star @ 6/17.00
As expected, this is a tricky looking 3yo only handicap but one down towards the bottom of the betting makes appeal.
Arizona Star, trained by Michael Mulvany has shown enough in her last two starts to take this. She missed the break a little at Cork on her penultimate run, coming from a decent way back to finish 8th of 16 runners that day. She then followed that run up with a very creditable 5th in a big field Navan handicap against the older horses.
Terry Casey, who was on board at Cork is back on board taking off 7lb, he's looking for his 5th win this season and it may well come aboard a filly that looks to have plenty in her favour.

Clonmel, 18:10 - Back Chant D'Or @ 12/113.00
Another low-grade handicap but the one I like in here is Chant d'Or who is having just the fourth start of his career and second for Daniel McLoughlin.
He was supported at big prices before finishing in mid division in a big field Navan handicap over a mile on his handicap debut. Having watched his run back that day it looks as though a step up in trip will really suit.
He's also dropped 3lb down to a low rating of 42 now and the fact he's competing in here against some well exposed rivals, I'd be surprised if he didn't run very well even though he's drawn on the outside which isn't ideal.
