The first selection on Sunday comes in the Nursery Handicap over 5f and Resdev Roman for Michael & David Easterby makes plenty of appeal with her set to get her preferred soft conditions.

Using the first two runs of her career in May to find her feet and gain some valuable experience on quicker ground that she seems to dislike, she returned at Ripon after a break and went on to get off the mark in good fashion, beating what looked some smart types on soft ground.

Having her first start on soft ground that day seemed to be the making of this horse and making her handicap debut on Sunday off a mark of 75, getting her ideal conditions again could make her tough to beat.

Joanna Mason takes the ride again and with only one danger in my mind being Space Dreamer, who is unproven on the ground, Resdev Roman is also getting 2lbs off her in the handicap and should go well again.

The final selection again comes from Carlisle in the Class 4 Fillies Handicap over 6f and Annie Edson Taylor for the Phillip Makin team could be tough to beat in this contest off just 4lb higher than her latest success over course and distance.

The five-year-old has won three times since joining Phillip Makin, with two of them coming over course and distance, and two of them have come when soft has been in the going description.

Having won at Thirsk in June on good ground, she lost her way slightly in her two following runs but returning to soft condition over C&D when last seen off a mark of 63 she went on to win quite impressively.

Returning just 18 days later, off a slightly increased mark, the key to her is the cut in the ground and she should be able to put her best foot forward again in a slightly better race.
