Wide open handicap hurdle and a chance is taken on Paradise Lost for trainer Charles O'Brien. Looks a very interesting jockey booking with Mark Walsh taking the ride for the first time on a horse that's had 14 starts over hurdles.
Although winless over hurdles, he has been placed on five occasions and his runs of late on the level have been encouraging without getting his head in front. He's a versatile horse with regards to ground conditions and he's not been tried a whole lot over this trip of 2m4f.
He's down towards the bottom of the weights, off what looks a mark he can strike off so at a decent enough price, he's one to be with, each way, in a race we're paying an extra place on with the Betfair Sportsbook.

A tricky nursery with very little form of note, but one of only two horses in the field to trouble the judge on any of their starts is the bottom horse Littlepacer for Johnny Murtagh and Jessica Maye.
Three ordinary runs in maidens were quickly left behind in Sligo when an eye-catching third. She was slow away and found herself well back in the field which isn't the place to be around a very sharp Sligo. The winner has gone on to be second in the Goffs million, while the fourth won on its next start.
The extra furlong here should be a big help and with Jessica Maye claiming 7lb, she runs off just 8st 2lb here. Johnny Murtagh's stable has hit a decent patch of form recently which has included the dual nursery scorer Pink Venom. Stephen Thorne's runner Someday Somewhere probably poses the biggest threat.
