Five-year-old mare Livingonaprayer makes only her fourth career start in this Listed event, appearing in black-type company for the first time as she bids for a third successive victory.
She has impressed so far this term with two wins at Huntingdon and Wincanton respectively, making a significant impression on the back of a break in November before showing tenacity to deny the reopposing Limerick Lass when last seen in December.
Returning from a short break here, the daughter of Dartmouth makes appeal as she is on an upward trajectory and may improve even further for the step up in trip. She's out of a half-sister to Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Sizing John, and is also related to Anythingforlove, who also represented Jamie Snowden, winning over three miles for the yard.
In the hands of Gavin Sheehan, Livingonaprayer is one to note considering she has already shaped with great promise and remains unexposed. She could have plenty of further progression to come as she continues gaining experience, and can prove herself at this level.

Certain to catch the eye in the paddock beforehand, The Last Cloud is a stunning grey who has impressed as a novice hurdler over the past year, winning on three occasions as well as holding his own in tough company.
He finished fourth to Fortune De Mer in a performance worth upgrading at Cheltenham in October, beaten only a length-and-a-half by the talented winner, before finishing third to Idaho Sun and Mydaddypaddy in the Formby Novices' Hurdle at Aintree over Christmas.
Well supported into favouritism in the Grade Two River Don when last seen, sent off at 18/54.60 having been available at 16/117.00 prior, The Last Cloud could only manage third to Thedeviluno, performing with credit but perhaps unable to see out the trip effectively enough in his first try over three miles.
The drop back in distance should allow him to fare better, and, having already proven he can be competitive at this level, he makes the most appeal for Patrick Neville under Brian Hughes.

Ten-year-old gelding Chosen Diamond finished a brilliant second to shock outsider Dunboyne, who landed the spoils at 66/167.00, in last year's renewal. He can match that effort or go one place better from a 4lb lower mark with claimer Philip Donovan taking 3lb off.
The Edward Cawley representative hasn't been seen to best effect in recent runs but has dropped in the weights as a result, now only 1lb higher than his last winning mark when successful at Fairyhouse last February. He usually runs well this time of year, has proven form in the race, and is on a workable mark with conditions to suit.
With plenty in his favour, Chosen Diamond warrants consideration and can improve on his latest efforts on his return to Navan.
Back Chosen Diamond E/W in 14:25 Navan
Theformismighty returned to form with a win at Newcastle when last seen, and should be able to put in another good effort from a 3lb higher mark. He is potentially well handicapped from his current rating of 118, considering he has been rated as highly as 129, and is much better off at the weights with rival New Order, who narrowly beat him when in receipt of 13lb last year.
The Dan Skelton-trained contender, who is partnered by Tristan Durrell, has stamina to prove stepping up to 3m2f, but should hold a good chance of staying this extra distance on pedigree. His grand-dam Maid Equal won over this distance in heavy conditions, along with a Grade Two victory over three miles, and he's related to Total Assets, who was proven over four miles.
The son of Black Sam Bellamy holds solid each-way claims from his current rating, and could be able to take another step forward and return back up the handicap after a confidence booster.

Sporting first-time cheekpieces, course-and-distance winner Dedicated Hero could be capable of landing this valuable pot in familiar surroundings for Sandy Thomson. He's unbeaten in three starts at this venue, prior to landing Grade Two honours at Haydock last year, and, although yet to return to the winners' enclosure this term, appears on a lenient mark of 123.
The son of Shirocco is 6lb lower than when seventh to Alexei in the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham's November Meeting, where he was able to emerge with some credit, staying on well having appeared unlikely to feature at all at one stage during the race. He went on to run over fences when finishing an excellent, albeit slightly unfortunate, second to exciting prospect Meetmebythesea, who could prove better than his current chase rating of 139 in time.
Dedicated Hero finished third to Romeo Coolio in a point-to-point during his earlier days, before being purchased for £40,000, and has shown plenty of ability and potential already, particularly in novice company. He is one to note on his return to hurdling, and could be able to take advantage of a low mark in the hands of Danny McMenamin.

Whilst Dedicated Hero is the main selection in the hugely competitive Morebattle Hurdle, Serious Challenge is another contender who warrants each-way consideration, unexposed for Fergal O'Brien in only his ninth start over obstacles.
Bred by former trainer Jim Bolger, the six-year-old son of Fracas was able to show class on the Flat earlier in his career, finishing three-and-a-quarter-lengths fourth to a future Derby winner in August Rodin in a Leopardstown Group Two as a juvenile. He also featured in Group races won by the likes of White Birch and Kyprios, whilst also placing at Listed level.
Since beginning his jumping career, Serious Challenge has won four from eight runs. He returned to the winners' enclosure at Haydock when last seen, justifying odds of 13/82.63 to beat Bucephalus by a length-and-a-half. The third, Brentford Hope, has won since and came within a length-and-a-half of Grade Two victory when behind The New Lion on Cheltenham Trials Day, whilst the fourth, Geromino, has also franked the form with a recent Catterick win.
There could be scope for even further improvement in Serious Challenge, who may be able to progress beyond his current mark of 132. He has shown ability and can put in a bold bid under Johnny Burke.

The Nick Scholfield yard could hardly be in much better form currently, and they could saddle another winner in Gabbys Cross in this veterans contest.
The 11-year-old, formerly trained by Henry de Bromhead, is making only his 16th start over fences. He has gained valuable experience during his career to date, but hasn't been overly seen, and could have the potential for more big days in future.
Gabbys Cross makes appeal at a value price in this contest from a mark of 128, 1lb lower than when a fast-finishing third to Nocte Volatus at Sandown in early January. Gustavian was behind in fourth on that occasion and has since boosted the form with an excellent fourth to Lookaway at odds of 66/167.00 in last weekend's feature at Kempton.
His latest run is worth forgiving and the return to chasing should suit. He's yet to be fully exposed at this level, particularly for his new connections, but has shaped with great promise when an eyecatcher in defeat in his penultimate start, and should be able to make his presence felt from his current rating in this field.
First-time cheekpieces could spark improvement too, and Freddie Keighley claims 5lb off, putting him in with strong claims at the weights as he seeks a fifth career win.

In this competitive 1m1f Group Two in Meydan, Holloway Boy could prove worth keeping the faith in for Karl Burke. The likeable six-year-old has been luckless back in warmer climes so far this year, but has caught the eye in both of his last two runs, finishing strongly behind Opera Ballo in a Group One over course-and-distance, and when, most recently, second to Make Me King in Doha.
The son of Ulysses can often get going too late, but has plenty of speed and talent and is more than capable of holding his own at this level in this company under William Buick, who partnered him to his latest success in a Listed Kempton contest in December.
Bidding for a fourth win, Holloway Boy warrants respect in this field. He has amassed plenty of valuable experience in Meydan during the past two winters, including when finishing third to Romantic Warrior and second to Nations Pride here, and was just touched off in a Group Two by the sadly ill-fated, talented Poker Face.
A formidable opponent on his day, Holloway Boy has the talent to pose a threat and can prove his worth at odds of 7/18.00.

Five-year-old gelding Folk Festival is a big price in this contest but is far from a forlorn hope although he will need plenty of luck in-running. He has plenty of ability but is often left with too much to do during races due to his usual running tactics.
In his penultimate start, he passed the entire field to win over a mile at this track in hugely impressive fashion, but was never able to get into a position from which he could threaten when upped to Listed level in Abu Dhabi when last seen.
His latest run is worth forgiving and, considering he remains unexposed and lightly raced in only his eighth career start, it could be worth keeping the faith in this likeable performer who has been generally consistent. He has the ability to outrun his odds under regular rider Bernardo Pinheiro for trainer Salem bin Ghadayer, making each-way appeal at a price of 66/167.00.
Back Folk Festival E/W in 16:00 Meydan
Kilwaughter is yet to get off the mark over hurdles, but could find more luck in handicap company from an opening mark of 118 with Jack Stenhouse taking 7lb off.
The six-year-old won a Down Royal bumper on debut for Stuart Crawford when trained in Ireland, beating promising prospect Theflyingking before changing hands for £120,000.
He finished a luckless sixth on debut in the concluding Grade Two bumper on Grand National Day at Aintree, beaten eight-lengths by Green Splendour having failed to get the run of the race, before finishing third to Baron Noir, with El Cairos in second, in a respectable return to his homeland at the Punchestown Festival.
So far this term in three hurdling appearances, things have failed to pan out favourably for Kilwaughter. Despite this, his current rating may prove lenient in this company based on some of the ability he has shown against some top class novice hurdlers in bumpers.
Whilst Kilwaughter does need to transfer his bumpers form to jumping, it's too early to give up on the son of Milan and he may be worth keeping onside.
Back Kilwaughter in 16:23 Newbury
Stall 1 has produced four of the past ten winners of this race, and The Camden Colt is drawn on the inside under Richard Mullen in this year's renewal.
The Bhupat Seemar-trained gelding could manage only sixth when last seen in handicap company, and will need to improve on that effort upped in class here, but had his excuses and has proven course form in his favour.
The course-and-distance winner landed his sole success for his current yard to date last March at this venue, beating Quality Humour by two-and-a-quarter-lengths. He had previously finished second in both of his first two starts for his current yard, before going on to continue a consistent run with a third-placed effort at Jebel Ali.
Formerly trained by Richard Hannon, the son of Footstepsinthesand landed a maiden success over Thunder Blue at Haydock when trained in England, before featuring in competitive novice events, as well as lining up in the Coventry Stakes won by River Tiber. He failed to build on his maiden success for his former yard but did shape with some potential and is living up to that now on the dirt.
There could be even more to come from the five-year-old, who shouldn't be discounted in this field despite lacking experience at this level. He has been generally consistent for his new connections and is unexposed in this company.

Katie's Saturday Racing Multi
Betfair is offering Bet £10 Get £10 on Racing Multis each weekend ahead of the Festival, and the multi that makes the most appeal this Saturday is an each-way treble across Kelso and Doncaster including The Last Cloud, Theformismighty, and Dedicated Hero, all of whom make appeal at the prices, potentially representing value and capable of makinge the frame at the least this Saturday.
The Last Cloud is an extremely likeable performer who has proven his capabilities of holding his own at this level in the past. Theformismighty appears well treated at the weights for Dan Skelton, representing value at the prices, whilst Dedicated Hero has always shaped with potential and should be able to make his presence felt from a workable mark in a competitive Morebattle Hurdle.
