Horse Racing Tips: Katie Midwinter's best bets on Wednesday including 4/1 Beverley NAP

Beverley, 15:45 - Back Dawn Of Liberation @ 4/15.00

On his last winning mark of 71, Dawn Of Liberation should be capable of posing a threat on the back of an improved effort at Ripon when beaten only two-lengths. He's well treated at the weights in this company, and has proven form over course-and-distance which should hold him in good stead.

The son of Churchill enjoyed a fruitful campaign last term, winning on three occasions whilst making the frame in multiple other contests, rising from a mark of 62 up to a high of 81. He has been able to pose a threat in deeper waters from a higher mark and may be worth keeping the faith in as he bids for a sixth career win.

Cartmel, 19:38 - Back I Am Spider Man @ 9/110.00

I Am Spider Man drops in class following two promising efforts in second at Newton Abbot and Hereford respectively. It has taken him some time to rediscover form but he has proven in recent outings that he is still capable of putting in competitive efforts and could make it third time lucky under James Bowen in this handicap.

The nine-year-old son of Walk In The Park has won from a 4lb higher mark over this distance in sound conditions previously, and could pose a threat despite being 3lb higher than his latest outings.

Dropping to this level could allow him to finally return to the winners' enclosure for the first time since successful in the summer of 2024, and he makes the most appeal as he bids for a fourth win in his 31st start.

Cartmel, 20:38 - Back Starman E/W @ 50/151.00

Ten-year-old gelding Starman has struggled for form in recent outings but has dropped in the weights as a result and is now 11lb lower than when narrowly denied at Catterick in January. He proved he still retains ability that day, therefore could be worth keeping onside under 7lb claiming Felix Foster.

Formerly trained by Anthony McCann, the grey was a likeable performer who achieved a career-high rating of 118 over hurdles. He is yet to strike for current trainer Joanne Foster, but could be capable of a better showing and shouldn't be discounted from a low mark.
