Lingfield, 13:50 - Back My Silver Lining E/W @ SP
Likeable mare My Silver Lining is a strong stayer who often runs well in competitive staying handicaps, and is now 2lb lower than her latest win which came in the 2024 renewal of the Classic Chase at Warwick.
Whilst a couple of years have past since her previous success, the grey has put in a number of competitive efforts since, including from a higher rating. In her subsequent run following her 3m5f victory, My Silver Lining chased home now 143-rated Yeah Man in the Grand National Trial at Haydock from a mark of 127, before finishing third to Beauport from 4lbs higher in the Midlands Grand National.
She finished fourth in the same race at Uttoxeter last season, before placing third in the Berkshire National at Ascot and, most recently, achieving a second-place finish in the Tommy Whittle, outrunning odds of 11/112.00 in the process.
The daughter of Cloudings, who represents an in-form Emma Lavelle yard, is a proven stayer with plenty of experience in her favour, and is on a workable mark, making each-way appeal under James Best.

Lingfield, 13:50 - Back Surrey Quest E/W @ 18/119.00
Despite being one of the outsiders of the field, nine-year-old gelding Surrey Quest cannot be discounted on his return to chasing, having been seen solely over hurdles this term. He fell early on in the Scottish Grand National last April, in his last run over the larger obstacles, but had previously finished a creditable third in the Edinburgh National at Musselburgh from a rating of 139.
The son of Milan had unseated in a Newbury contest won by Henry's Friend prior to that placed effort, which followed two good second-place finishes, the first of which came when denied a nose by Macdermott in the 2024 renewal of the Scottish Grand National, when deemed a 20/121.00 chance from a 2lb higher mark.
Surrey Quest also chased home Abuffalosoldier in a competitive Cheltenham handicap at the 2024 November Meeting, again outrunning odds of 14/115.00 to make the frame.
Only 3lb higher than his previous winning mark, having shown great ability from a higher rating since, the Toby Lawes-trained contender warrants consideration if he can return to the best of his ability back over fences. He has had wind surgery which could allow him to fare better than in recent runs, and the return to chasing over a longer trip is likely to suit.

Kempton, 15:38 - Back Cressida Wildes E/W @ 12/113.00
Four-year-old filly Cressida Wildes is one to note from a rating of 76 in this 6f sprint, partnered by Hector Crouch as she makes her ninth all-weather appearance.
The daughter of Showcasing, who has two wins during her career to date, is only 2lb higher than her previous win and is 3lb lower than when second to HK Fourteen at Bath in September, when outrunning odds of 18/119.00 to make the frame under Rossa Ryan.
Since then, she has performed with credit in this class on occasion, and wasn't disgraced when a 40/141.00 chance in fifth behind Alligator Alley at Wolverhampton in her latest outing. At a price of 12/113.00, she could prove worth keeping onside, making each-way appeal if at her best at the weights.

Wolverhampton, 17:30 - Back Eutropia @ 5/23.50
Adrian Wintle-trained Eutropia caught the eye when a two-length third to Latin at this venue when last seen, shaping as though a step up in trip could suit, sticking to the task well in the closing stages. She's upped to a mile-and-a-half here under Finley Marsh, and should be able to make her presence felt from a 1lb lower mark on a rating of 55.
The daughter of Study Of Man, who is out of a staying daughter of Cape Cross in Next One, is unexposed over this distance and could be capable of showing plenty of further improvement.
This is only her third start for her current yard, having previously represented trainer Kevin Thomas Coleman in Ireland, for whom she was able to make the frame on once occasion at Bellewstown, placing in third when rated 64.
One to keep onside based on her latest effort, with this extra distance likely to suit, Eutropia makes the most appeal as she bids to get off the mark and shed her maiden tag.

Wolverhampton, 19:00 - Back Wodao E/W @ 14/115.00
Six-year-old gelding Wodao is yet to win for his current connections since leaving the Donnacha O'Brien earlier in his career, but is now 31lb lower than when making his debut for Jamie Osborne under returning rider Callum Shepherd, and could outrun his odds of 14/115.00 in this contest.
The son of Showcasing has been able to perform with credit for his current yard, including when third at odds of 25/126.00 in a higher class Goodwood handicap from a mark of 95, and when narrowly denied by Charimanoftheboard at the same venue from a 3lb lower rating.
Last year, the gelding failed to make a serious impression in any of his races, but wasn't disgraced when sent off at 11/26.50 behind now 85-rated stablemate Thunder Blue at Salisbury, and is now 6lb lower than when fifth to Hierarchy at Kempton last month. Whilst further improvement is required, Wodao is on a mark from which he should be competitive and he is in even calmer waters this time around in this 0-70 handicap.
