Handicap debutant Bollengo Boy has struggled to make a significant impression in maiden and novice company to date but could find better luck down the handicap route from an opening mark of 61.
Whilst he has failed to make the frame in three starts so far this term, the son of Bayside Boy may be capable of showing further progression as he steps up to a mile. His debut outing at Windsor has been franked by winner Flann Sunna, who won convincingly at Ascot subsequently and recently finished fifth to Man's Best Friend in the Group Two Richmond Stakes, and runner-up Perfect Nation, a dual winner since.
Out of unraced mare Thawrah, a half-sister Group One-winning sprinter Malhub, who also appeared over a mile, as well as Dhaamer, a Group Three handicap winner over a mile-and-a-half, there's class and some staying credentials in the pedigree and this 58,000gns purchase may be worth keeping onside as he bids to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking.

Four-year-old gelding King Of Light ran a creditable race in defeat in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood when last seen, finishing eighth of 27 runners at odds of 33/134.00 from an unchanged mark of 97. He makes appeal at the weights once again and could give another good account of himself under Marco Ghiani.
The course-and-distance winner is currently 6lb higher than his last winning mark when putting in a convincing three-and-a-half-length win at this track in June. He has run well since from a 2lb higher rating when performing well once at Ascot in his penultimate start and, in familiar surroundings, can put in a bold bid for Stuart Williams.

Dream Composer is another contender worth considering with course form in this competitive handicap. He's only 1lb higher than his last winning mark in the hands of 5lb claiming Myla Coppins, making each-way appeal at the weights for Tony Carroll.
The likeable eight-year-old gelding has experience of winning tough, big field handicaps, and could pose a threat as he bids for a 13th career win. He's one to note and could fare better than in his latest run at Epsom.

Top weight My Trump Card is stepping significantly up in trip from his recent yard debut at Galway which could allow him to put in an improved performance for John McConnell. He's entitled to improve for his latest run following a 100-day break, but must rediscover form having struggled to perform for Gordon Elliott in recent seasons.
The son of Shantou finished fourth to Grangeclare West on debut before going on to land a bumper by nine-lengths at Navan. He got off the mark over obstacles at the same venue, beating Dr Eggman, but has since failed to build on that maiden hurdle success.
Having been seen mostly over fences, he returned to hurdling in his latest run and could shape better this time around with the benefit of recent experience over timber. It's too early to give up on the eight-year-old, who remains lightly raced making only his 16th start, and could be capable of a resurgence.
