Southwell, 16:30 - Back Thankuappreciate @ 7/18.00
Course-and-distance winner Thankuappreciate is now 7lb lower than his last winning mark with 3lb claiming Zak Wheatley in the saddle once again. He is in a lower class handicap than his previous success and had been competitive on numerous occasions during 2025, dropped 10lb from his highest rating of 79 during the year.
The six-year-old gelding was just touched off by Zarzyni at this venue in September when sent off as the joint-favourite at 9/25.50 when rated 71. Making appeal at the weights here, he could return to form in familiar surroundings having failed to fire in recent runs, but did finish a creditable third to Alligator Alley at Newcastle when outrunning odds of 11/112.00 during the autumn, proving he retains ability.
Capable of making his presence felt in this field and holding solid claims if at his best, Thankuappreciate is in with a good chance at the weights and could be worth keeping the faith in at odds of 7/18.00.

Southwell, 17:00 - Back Knight Of Magic @ 11/82.38
Seven-year-old gelding Knight Of Magic has been running consistently well since returning to action at Wolverhampton in October, and, in slightly calmer waters here, could finally shed his maiden tag at the 27th attempt.
In this Classified Stakes 1m3f contest, the son of Decorated Knight makes appeal and should be able to make the frame once again on the back of second-placed and third-placed finishes, including over course-and-distance.
Mr Nugget, who beat him in his penultimate start, has since boosted the form with a positive run when carrying a 5lb penalty, with Jack Langley, who beat him at Lingfield, finishing second in the same race from a 4lb higher rating.
This race appears to be a more feasible opportunity and, considering the calibre of opponent he has been facing recently, this should suit. He has held his own against horses rated in the 60s in handicap company, but isn't up against a horse of that level here which could allow him to finish in front.

Southwell, 18:00 - Back Little Miss India @ 9/25.50
Another course-and-distance winner to consider on the Southwell card is Little Miss India. She was highlighted ahead of her run at Kempton in September when failing to make an impression despite being backed into 9/25.50, winning in her subsequent run when equipped with a first-time hood.
Despite being 6lb higher than her sole success here, she has run well since from her current mark including over an extra furlong at this venue when beaten only a length by Jindri. With a clear liking for the track, having put in two of her best performances in as many starts here, the daughter of Invincible Spirit is a mare to keep onside at Southwell.
Cheekpieces, which were applied at Kempton in her latest run, are off, with the hood remaining on as she bids for a second career win in the hands of Jason Watson, making appeal at a price of 9/25.50.

Southwell, 19:30 - Back Seeing Stars @ 7/42.75
Three-year-old filly Seeing Stars has been narrowly denied twice over 7f at Wolverhampton, beaten a nose by Hamdania, a half-sister to Lillie Langtry Stakes winner Waardah, on debut, before being denied only by Chantelle, an impressive winning debutante, in her latest run.
The daughter of Bated Breath could make it third time lucky for William Knight in this contest, with Luke Morris back aboard.
She has the benefit of race fitness on her side against favourite Ellusive Butterfly, who returns to action following a 184-day break, and could use that fitness edge to great effect against a promising filly who finished third in a Listed Deauville contest when last seen.
Capable of showing further improvement as she keeps progressing with extra experience, and with all-weather form, Seeing Stars could pose a threat to the market leader and warrants consideration.
