Timeform top-rated Ace of Spades was quick to match his useful bumper form (winner at Warwick last spring) in this sphere when runner-up at Exeter last month and is fancied to build on it and go one better now.
Dan Skelton enjoyed a double at the track on Saturday and his five-year-old should cope with the shorter trip here just fine.
Irish challenger Whimsy comes here in great nick though so should ensure Skelton's good prospect doesn't have things all his own way.

Hecouldbetheone - who has the Timeform 'Horses For Courses' flag - is taken to resume his progression for the in-form James Owen yard now back from a break at a venue which suits his style of racing.
Owen has a 24% strike rate with his hurdlers at up to 2m2f and the Timeform pace prediction for this race is 'weak' which should suit his front-runner if he can see off Goodwin (held up last time but normally a prominent racer) and Calshot Spit.

This looks a particularly strong renewal of what is always one of the hottest handicap hurdles of the season.
Setbacks meant Dysart Enos and Burdett Road missed Grade 1 targets at the spring festivals but that misfortune allowed them to protect lenient-looking marks in the low 130s and they look the pair to focus on, with preference for the former.
Fergal O'Brien's exciting mare looks well-treated on her bumper form, which included a heavy defeat of subsequent Cheltenham Festival winner Golden Ace, and this talented mare is fancied to add another course win to her tally.
