This Empire Maker filly was an expensive purchase at the Breeze-Up sales in Ocala last year. On her latest start over this course she put in a much-improved effort when finishing second to Brassy in a similar event. She made her move in the straight, but was no match for the easy winner. The extra yardage will suit, and should be forwardly placed before making her move. She should be a fair price as the likely short priced favourite Saratoga Vision will attract plenty of support. I recommend backing her at BSP.

This well related War Front filly finished a closing second in a turf allowance race at Churchill Downs in June. She made a six-wide move on the home turn, and finished strongly without troubling the winner. This was a promising run after being away from the races for well over a year. Trainer Roger Attfield has worked her beautifully ahead of this assignment. She put in a bullet work over the course earlier this month followed by a maintenance work a couple of days ago. She should be backed around 4.03/1 on the exchange.
