Papa Cocktail has fallen a long way in the weights, but he very much caught the eye when a running-on third over this course and distance in February and he is very interesting on that effort.

Admittedly, he proved a disappointment at Newcastle last time, but that came in a stronger race than this, and he was ridden in contrasting style to when shaping well at this course. More positive tactics clearly didn't see him to good effect on that occasion and, if bouncing back to previous form, he will be very competitive.

Amourie finished first past the post over a mile and a half at this course in November but lost the race in the stewards' room, though she gained compensation over the same course and distance on her next start.

She has returned to form on her last two starts, supported in the betting when finishing second back at this course at the end of March and filling the same position at Newcastle five days ago. She clearly goes well at this course and this good-value claimer gets on with her well, so another bold bid is expected.
