Flame Zapper posted a career best when last seen at Gulfstream Park five months ago and this jockey/trainer combination must always be respected around here. Dr Green is proven over this C&D and may emerge as the biggest threat. Waltzing Champ is another that needs to be factored in.
#6 Uni - Saratoga R9 (22:46)
The Grade 1 Fourstardave Handicap over 1m on turf highlights the Saturday card at Saratoga, with Chad Brown holding a strong hand as he fields four of the nine runners. Of that quartet, Uni, Raging Bull and Without Parole all have great chances, with last year's Breeders' Cup Mile winner Uni shading the vote. Raging Bull and Without Parole have traded blows this season and it would be no surprise to see master turf trainer Brown go 1-2-3 in this contest.
#5 Battalion - Saratoga R10 (23:18)
Battalion was a winner at Gulfstream before finishing runner-up last time out over C&D. He's clear top-rated on Timeform figures and looks and one to take very seriously. Rakeez represents a top barn and could well emerge as best of the remainder, while Letterman can chase the first two home.
