Kingmeister should go close in this interesting allowance race on the inner turf course.

This lightly raced colt caught the eye on turf debut when finishing third against similar over this course last month. He held every chance in the straight, but took a hefty bump and failed to go through with his effort. He was not unlucky, but would have finished closer with a clear path. Trainer Shug McGaughey is having a super meeting with a formidable 30% strike rate. He has been working very well over the turf course in the morning, and appears to be in good order. This is a tough race, so recommend backing him at BSP.

Race 9 22:46 Saratoga - Without Parole

I am going to side with Without Parole in this mouthwatering Grade 1 on the turf.

This race is named after the great Fourstardave who won a race at the Spa for eight consecutive years.

Without Parole was a high class performer in the UK, winning the St. James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot in great style. He contested all the major Group 1 races in Europe before joining Chad Brown last year.

He has taken time to adjust, but put in his best effort in the US when finishing a closing fourth to War of Will in a Grade 1 at Keenland last month. He put in a strong run inside the final furlong, and was gaining on the winner close home. I think he is sitting on a big effort, and recommend backing him at BSP.
