Nizaaka won her final start for Roger Varian by a wide margin at Wolverhampton in November and made a pleasing start for new connections when beaten a short head in second at Newbury 17 days ago. That was also her turf debut but she shaped as though ahead of her mark for much of the race and Benoit de la Sayette claim more than offsets the 3 lb rise she incurred for that performance, so there is plenty to like about her chance.

Cosmic Desert - 19:04 Newmarket

The form of Cosmic Desert's second at Windsor in April is working out well, with the winner going close - and arguably unlucky not to win - in a competitive handicap at Royal Ascot on Thursday and, for all he disappointed when failing to land the odds at Lingfield last time, he is worth another chance now back on turf on handicap debut. This mark shouldn't prove beyond him and this race doesn't look overly deep.
