Arion Fox was held up and was short of room on the home turn, keeping on without getting the clearest of runs and finishing with running left. An expensive, good-looking filly, she remains one to be interesting in, especially now handicapping.

Imperium - 19:15 Kempton

Imperium remains lightly raced, and is progressing all the time, and both of his wins have come on the all-weather. He translated the improvement shown back to turf when finishing third at Haydock last time, travelling better than most for much of the race, and leaving the impression he has more to offer. That was his first run for four months, so he is entitled to strip fitter, and the return to two miles back on the all-weather are both in his favour.

French Polish - 20:15 Kempton

French Polish did too much too soon on her debut for this yard at Lingfield in August, but shaped much better when hitting the frame at this course last time, running on late in what looked a fair-looking fillies maiden. She is bred to be smart, so an opening mark of 68 looks very appealing, and this longer trip should be within her compass. There is plenty to like about her chances now handicapping.
