Huntingdon Nap - 15:35 - Back General Medrano
General Medrano had some fairly useful form over hurdles but he bettered that at the first attempt when making a winning start over fences at Uttoxeter earlier this month.
That was his first start for five months and he impressed with some assured jumping, travelling fluently and having the race in the bag from some way out. There should be even more to come from him in this sphere and he is a strong fancy from a 7 lb higher mark.
Huntingdon Next Best - 15:00 - Back Iolaos du Mou
Iolaos du Mou made a winning debut in a bumper around this time last year and he was arguably unlucky not to make a winning start over hurdles at Kempton in May, too, not flat out when slithering on landed two from home.
He hasn't quite progressed as expected since, but he has found only one rival too strong on his last two starts, and left the impression he come on for the run at Fontwell earlier this month. The winner that day looked promising and Iolaos du Mou remains with potential for better now handicapping.
