Klassical Dream hasn't been seen on the track since finishing fifth in a Grade 1 hurdle at this meeting last year, but he was a very smart performer in that sphere at his best, landing the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham and the Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown. He is an extremely exciting recruit to chasing and, with the Willie Mullins yard in top form at present, he gets the vote to overcome his absence and make a successful debut over fences.

Ballyadam - 13:45 Leopardstown

A highly promising individual, Ballyadam maintained his unbeaten record over hurdles when following up his Down Royal success with victory in the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse last time, taking the step up in grade in his stride as he got the better of all six of his rivals, each of whom he was conceding experience to. He is a very exciting prospect with room for further improvement, and he gets the vote to land a hat-trick of victories over hurdles.

Castlebawn West - 14:55 Leopardstown

After breaking his maiden in good fashion at Fairyhouse in January, Castlebawn West was rather thrown in at the deep end, asked to contest the Flogas Novice Chase, and the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. He struggled to make an impact in either of those races, but, dropped into handicap company for the first time on his return to action at Punchestown last month, he took a step back in the right direction, staying on well to finish a good third. This step back up in trip is sure to suit and he has to be taken seriously.
