Omakase is an obvious choice having been narrowly touched off as favourite on nursery debut at the Curragh seven days ago. There should be more to come from him, and provided this doesn't come too soon, he can go one better at the likely expense of Verbal Fencing, with Mass Gathering another one to consider.

Shanroe - 15:10 Down Royal

Shanroe was smart in bumpers and is still unexposed on the Flat so very much the one to focus on here after his excellent second at Leopardstown. He turned in a useful performance that day and the extra emphasis on stamina here will be in his favour. Walking On Glass arrives in top form so looks the one to chase home the top weight, while Peregrine Run rates a solid place prospect.

Baron Samedi - 15:45 Down Royal

Baron Samedi opened his account at Cork despite still not looking the finished article and, given the way he shapes, this longer trip should bring even more out of him. He's capable of outclassing his rivals and takes preference over the in-form Pikaia, with Little Brother also considered having scored over hurdles recently.
